Il rifugio Pernici venne inaugurato nel 1929 a qualche centinaio di metri dalla Bocca di Trat, sui ruderi di alcune baracche risalenti alla prima guerra mondiale, dai soci della Sezione SAT di Riva del Garda. Fu intitolato a Nino Pernici, rivano, legionario trentino, caduto nel 1916 alla testa del suo reparto alpino sul fronte dell'Isonzo.

Once you reach Ledro Valley, follow signs for Concei Valley. At Lenzumo, go to the right following the signs for Pernici Refuge. Park the car at the car park a few hundred meters from Malga Trat. Start walking on a dirt road to reach Malga Trat, then follow the signs for Pernici Refuge in about 20 minutes. Short course that is simple and suitable for most people, even some strollers.

When you reach the Ledro valley, follow the signs for Valle di Concei. At Lenzumo, go up to the right and follow the signs for the Pernici refuge. You park your car at the car park a few hundred metres from Malga Trat. Start walking along the dirt road and reach Malga Trat, then follow the signs to reach the Pernici refuge in about 20 minutes. Short, simple route suitable for everyone, even.
